Start with a clean, dry stall. Rubber mats are suggested but not required.
Add 375-400 pounds of Hempsteed bedding to a 12×12 stall. Adjust proportionally for bigger or smaller stalls. Getting a 6″ plus depth in the stall is ideal. Using less bedding at set up will reduce the longevity of the bedding, requiring more product to be added sooner.
You will need a wheelbarrow, fork and a broom.
For messier horses a small amount of water can be sprinkled on top of each bale added at set up. Just enough to dampen the surface. Allow at least an hour before bring horse back in.This is not required.
